Chef Simon Toohey is well-known from his Masterchef days and now for his Network 10 program, Freshly Picked.
When Simon and his partner Georgia started considering a move to a regional area, they had some criteria. It had to be growing and exciting, have beautiful cafes, restaurants, bars and coffee, an amazing arts culture, quick and easy transport to Melbourne, close to beaches and affordable.
They left the inner-west of Melbourne in April and are making the growing inner Geelong neighbourhood of Newcomb their new home.
